I picked up a Jeep Patriot in 2012 to take over daily driving duties from the TJ - overall pretty happy with the little Jeep, only a few mods - ProClip iPhone mount and Thule roof rack for the bike - much more to come!

t was some kind of personal record that I owned the Jeep for over a year and hadn't cut, or drilled, into anything yet.  I knew that I wanted a hitch for the Patriot, and the Hidden Hitch was the best option I found.  IT has a two inch receiver that will work with the accessories I already own, and it doesn't hang down super low. I moved shortly after picking up the Patriot - and am happy to report that with the rear seat folded down, I could fit quite a bit of stuff in the back.  One area that I'm thinking about upgrading is the Jeep's suspension.  Even though I wasn't close to maxing out the payload, you could feel that there was cargo in the Jeep.
