Brabus Take on the New Mercedes X-Class Is Extreme
The most popular and recognizable German tuner named Brabus tends to improve the already impressive rides. One of their latest works was based around the brand new Mercedes-Benz X-Class which has just made its official launch a few months ago. Well, yes, these folks specialize in Mercedes-Benz, and this time they came up with something practical as it should be with a pick-up truck. First off, the Mercedes X-Class received a 900 hp V12 unit, but Brabus is definitely not only about power. Their body kit designed for the new X-Class, comprises the front fascia including a front element, integrated mesh and three front elements, all manufactured with the use of Pur-R-Rim. The German tuner implemented LED side markers and a roof lighting module for the truck which added to that ultimate off road look. Even more horsepower is achieved thanks to such performance upgrades, as quad tailpipes and a sports exhaust at the rear of the truck.
Brabus’s performance magic touch for the Mercedes X 250d is the newly developed D4 PowerXtra upgrade which helps the 2.3 liter turbodiesel gain the additional 21 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque. The new peak power outputs are: 211 hp and 376 lb-ft with the acceleration time from a standstill to 60 mph in 11.5 seconds. Back to the exterior changes, Brabus put the truck on Monoblock X 20-inch wheels wrapped in 285/45 R 20 tires in the front and in the back. The tuner offers interior customized either fully or with a range of scuff plates in stainless steel.
